Fractal Grid, LLC ("Fractal Grid," "we," "us," or "our") is the operator of Halal Rewards Club (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from two types of users: Merchants (restaurant owners who create accounts) and Customers (guests enrolled in a Merchant's loyalty program).

2. Information We Collect

From Merchants

• Email address and password (used for account authentication)
• Restaurant name and business details
• Billing and payment information (processed by our payment provider)
• Usage data such as logins, actions taken in the dashboard, and feature usage

From Customers (enrolled by Merchants)

• First name (provided by the Merchant or customer at enrollment)
• Phone number (used as the customer's loyalty identifier)
• Visit history, points earned, and rewards redeemed
• Date of enrollment

Automatically Collected

• Browser type, device type, and IP address
• Pages visited and time spent on the Service
• Authentication session tokens (stored in secure cookies)

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Service
• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
• Display loyalty program data to the appropriate Merchant
• Process subscription payments
• Send transactional emails (e.g., password resets, billing receipts)
• Improve and develop new features for the Service
• Respond to support requests

We do not use Customer data for any purpose other than providing the loyalty program functionality to the Merchant who enrolled them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Payment processors: Billing information is handled by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Fractal Grid or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain Merchant account data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. Customer loyalty data is retained on behalf of the Merchant and is deleted when the Merchant's account is closed. Merchants may request a data export within 30 days of account termination.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and role-based access controls on our database. Access to customer data is restricted to the Merchant who enrolled them. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Cookies

We use cookies solely to maintain authenticated sessions. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in to the Service.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@halalrewards.club. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a customer of a Merchant using Halal Rewards Club and wish to have your loyalty data removed, please contact the restaurant or business that enrolled you directly. We will process removal requests forwarded to us by Merchants.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Merchants of material changes by email or through a notice in the dashboard. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
